At The Artistically Abundant Alpha Alpha Chapter of Delta Phi Delta Dance Fraternity, Inc., we believe art is more than performance — it is purpose. It is a responsibility to serve, inspire, and leave every space better than we found it.
Founded in 2015 by our Honorable Charter Members, the Alpha Alpha Chapter was established on a bold vision: to build a brotherhood and sisterhood of artists who refuse to keep their gifts confined to a stage. We believe the arts should reach the streets, empower the youth, restore culture, and uplift communities that deserve access to creativity, mentorship, and opportunity.
Our chapter proudly carries the title “Artistically Abundant” because our abundance is not only measured in talent — it is measured in service, leadership, and impact.
In honor of the legacy created by our Charter Members, Alpha Alpha intentionally commits to hosting or participating in seven (7) or more community service initiatives every trimester. These efforts are not symbolic — they are strategic. From youth arts mentorship, cultural programming, and educational outreach to volunteer initiatives and community partnerships, we dedicate our time and creativity to ensuring the arts remain accessible, empowering, and transformative.
For us, giving back is not an event — it is culture.
It is how we honor those who built the foundation before us.
It is how we prepare the next generation of artists and leaders.
The Alpha Alpha Chapter stands as a living example that when artists unite with purpose, creativity becomes a force for change.
We are not simply dancers.
We are mentors.

“Tie & Tire: Brotherhood in Action”
The men of the Artistically Abundant Alpha Alpha Chapter of Delta Phi Delta Dance Fraternity, Inc. hosted a hands-on community service initiative teaching essential life skills to men and boys in the community. Participants learned how to properly change a tire and how to tie a professional necktie, practical skills that promote independence, responsibility, and preparation for life’s important moments. With over 30 community participants, the event created a space where mentorship, leadership, and brotherhood were actively demonstrated.
Brotherhood Prayer Circle
At the close of our community initiative, the men gathered for a powerful prayer circle dedicated to strengthening men within our community. Over 10 men participated, joining together in unity, encouragement, and spiritual reflection. This moment reminded everyone present that brotherhood is not only built through service, but also through faith, support, and accountability.
Community Through Movement
At Johnson C. Smith University, Alpha Alpha brothers shared the power of artistic expression by teaching an open dance combination to students during our Meet the Greeks event. The session emphasized creativity, confidence, and cultural appreciation while giving students a glimpse into the artistic brotherhood that defines Delta Phi Delta Dance Fraternity, Inc.
The Jesus Hunt: Faith, Fun & Fellowship
The Jesus Hunt is Alpha Alpha’s faith-centered take on the traditional Easter egg hunt, designed to bring families and youth together while celebrating the true meaning of Resurrection season. During this community event, participants searched for hidden eggs filled with treats, prizes, and inspirational messages while learning about the story and significance of the resurrection of Jesus Christ.
Meet the Greeks: Dance & Culture Experience
The Artistically Abundant Alpha Alpha Chapter proudly hosted a Meet the Greeks event at Johnson C. Smith University, where students were introduced to our fraternity’s culture, artistry, and brotherhood. During this interactive experience, students learned a free 8-count dance combination, allowing them to engage directly with the creativity and energy that defines Delta Phi Delta.
